Advanced Data Protection
Transport requests carry names, diagnoses, and room numbers. Advanced Data Protection encrypts them field by field, keeps them off crew lock screens, and releases them only to destinations you approve.
Call nature, notes, attachments, contact details, and custom fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a key that belongs to your company.
A fresh multi-factor check and a short-lived grant are required to read or edit protected fields, on the web and in the mobile apps.
Push, SMS, email, and voice default to a sign-in notice, so patient details never sit on a lock screen or in a carrier's message log.
Protected Workflows send approved fields as FHIR R4, HL7 v2, JSON, or XML to one pinned HTTPS destination, such as a facility's EHR or your ePCR or billing system.
Each send is written to a hash-chained disclosure log before it leaves, with field IDs and hashes, never patient values, and exportable for audits.
Resgrid signs a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with companies that have Advanced Data Protection enabled.
